The SJC junior varsity squad had its best overall performance in front of the net on Friday, September 17th as they easily defeated Archbishop Carroll, 9-0. Angela W. led the Cadets with a hat trick - her first career sombrero - while Raley H. and Sadie L. each netted a brace. Bridget P. and McKenna S. also scored their first goals in red and white as St. John's cruised to a commanding 8-0 lead after 35 minutes of play.
Head Coach Angelo GRANGER was delighted with the team's ability to combine in front of the goal and take shots. He also went on to praise the work rate of his midfield and defensive corps.
SJC returns to the home pitch on Tuesday, September 21st when they entertain PAUL VI in a WCAC league fixture. Kick off is slated for 5:30 PM.
