SJC'S SIDI G. PROFILED BY WASHINGTON POST

St. John's junior forward Sidi G. was recently profiled by the Washington Post in the October 28th issue. Since its publishing, both in print and online at allmetsports.com, the feature has generated much ado in the local high school soccer community as a result of Post sports reporter Andy Marso's take on the nature of Sidi's exchange and what it means for her chances of entering college after she matriculates from SJC.

Sidi would not be in the scarlet and white if it were not for the presence of Cadets Head Coach Colin Lennon. Her arrival at St. John's was the result of a friendship between Lennon and Chris Rose, a former teammate of Lennon's at St. Lawrence University.

It goes without saying that Sidi's journey to St. John's is unique in its own right and may help encourage other foreign exchange students to consider SJC as a destination for premier academic, athletic, intellectual and moral enrichment.
